Commonwealth Youth Exchange
The experience of a lifetime...
MAP: Commonwealth Youth Exchange is a partnership between Kingston Youth Service and Youth Creating Change of Ghana.
Expand your horizons and meet young people from Ghana in West Africa.
You'll be involved in planning, organising and funding an educational youth exchange. Begin your journey by becoming a member of the MAP group, so that this summer (August 2010) you can participate in welcoming a Ghanaian youth group to Britain. Your commitment to the project could then send you to Ghana in 2011.
We're looking for young people who are:
- mature, driven, enthusiastic, keen to learn and can commit to a long-term project.
- aged between 14 and 16
- available during the summer of 2010 and 2011.
- available to attend MAP group sessions every Thursday evening from 5-7.30pm
- living in or attending school in Kingston.
New members are selected through an interview process.
