Volunteering

Do something positive with your free time and become a volunteer. There are many different volunteering opportunities available in Kingston for a variety of organisations.

If you're thinking about working in a particular career, then it might be good for you to find a role as a volunteer in a related organisation so you can see what it is like.
You can learn some valuable new skills and put it on your CV.
You can meet new people and friends.
If you have lots of free time, this can be a positive way of using it.

	VOLUNTEERING OPPORTUNITIES
	Orange RockCorps Join the Orange RockCorps volunteer collective. Give four hours of your time helping with projects that will benefit the community and gain a ticket to exclusive gigs.
	St Fuel Youth Cafe Want a youth cafe in the centre of Kingston? Want to be involved in creating and running it? Are you aged 13-19? Then this is the project for you!
	Talksafe Talksafe are recruiting young volunteers aged 15-18 to join the team, with the opportunity to gain City & Guilds accreditation in Peer Mentoring. For more information, email kate.keown@tht.org.uk. Talksafe from Terrence Higgins Trust is an emotional wellbeing and sexual health service for young people aged 10-18, who live in London. It’s a safe place for young people to get advice from mentors their own age, talk to a counsellor or chat with other young people across London.
