Junior Cycle Club

Any junior aged 9-16 years old who is confident on a bike can join the Kingston Junior Cycle Club which takes place every Saturday at the YMCA Hawker Centre. A new session for cyclists aged 6, 7 and 8 years old starts from Saturday 1st October to 17th December 2011.
Road/ off road cycling, obstacle courses and time trials. Bring your bike and helmet (any type of bike is okay). Wear sensible clothing for all weather conditions and bring a drink and a snack!
Notes for 6-8 junior session:
- Parents must stay onsite for the hour session – there is a café within the Hawker Centre or we will encourage at times parents (off bike) getting involved with their childs learning when required.
- Cyclists must be competent and safe on their bike – no stabilisers. We expect a few tumbles but only when completing tough circuits not general cycling.
- Most younger bikes are fitted with handlebar end stoppers – these aren’t a must but are suggested for safety.
