Anorexia nervosa is an eating disorder which is most common among teenage girls, although boys can also have anorexia too. This is when you obsessively restrict the amount of food you eat and starve yourself in order to lose weight.

Binge Eating means having a lack of control over the amount of food you eat, where you may consume silly amounts. Binge eating is a part of bulimia nervosa (another eating disorder). But unlike bulimia, there isn't any purging (getting rid of what you've just eaten by making yourself vomit or taking laxatives), so people who binge eat rapidly gain weight and can become obese (over 20% more than our ideal weight).

Bulimia Nervosa is an eating disorder which involves purging yourself (which means you make yourself vomit or take laxatives to go to the toilet more) in order to prevent gaining weight after over-eating.

There are many forms of bullying which can include name-calling, hitting, or stealing someone's things. There are also less visible forms of bullying, like sending nasty text messages or spreading false rumours about someone. If you're being bullied, then tell someone about it! You have the right to live without being bullied.

Have you lost someone close to you? If someone close to you dies or disappears from your life, like a member of your family or a friend, it can be really hard. It's normal to feel strong emotions like shock, sadness, anger, guilt, fear or depression. Everyone reacts differently and when you feel like this it means you're grieving or going through grief.

Self-harm is injuring youself on purpose so you bleed, leave a scar, mark or bruise. People self-harm for different reasons. Some people might feel bad because they're being bullied or abused. If you or someone you know is harming themselves, then there are things you could do to deal with it.

When you're under a lot of pressure and worried a lot about something, that could mean that you're 'stressed out'. People cope with stress in different ways. You might feel everything's getting on top of you, and it can really help to talk to someone about things on your mind. Take some time out to de-stress - have a break or do something you enjoy.
