Food Technology Most schools offer Food Technology to their KS3 students and the Government is thinking of making it compulsory. But unless you take it at a higher level or need it for your career, or both, it’s at best: pointless fun; at worst: a huge waste of time. Is Cheap Ever Chic? The opening of Primark in Kingston has created a frenzy of shopping with teenagers and adults. Cheap is now a badge of honour. To be seen carrying a Primark bag 2 years ago would be fashion suicide, now we are all waving them around with pride. Back to top

It's always about sex It should be as easy and regular as going to the dentist yet checking up on your sexual health is not something you think about when you brush your teeth. How do they even sell? Just glancing at the ‘woman’s’ magazines’ section in WHSmith or Borders can give the un-suspecting victim an idea of how many ‘Vogues’, ‘Cosmos’ and ‘Heats’ a woman can choose from. Admittedly I am a religious reader of various female magazines. However, recently all the decent magazines have been steadily over-taken by a load of trash. Back to top
