UK Youth Parliament's National Campaigns

The UK Youth Parliament (UKYP) enables young people to use their energy and passion to change the world for the better. Run by young people for young people, UKYP provides opportunities for 11-18-year-olds to use their voice in creative ways to bring about social change.
In April 2008, the UKYP's campaign priorities for 2008 were decided in a national vote. The top six topics were taken to the House of Lords where Members of Youth Parliament (MYPs) debated and voted.

Sex and Relationship Education
Are you getting it?
The UKYP will campaign to ensure that every young person receives Sex and Relationships Education (SRE) within personal social and health education (PSHE) by making it a compulsory part of the national curriculum.

Fares Fair!
The UKYP will campaign to introduce a National Concession Card that would entitle all young people to reduced fares on buses.
