About Kingston Summer Uni
New for 2008, a variety of free courses are on offer throughout the summer for young people aged 11 to 19. There are opportunities to try something new and gain accreditations whilst having a good time!
Kingston Summer Uni is being offered by Kingston Youth Service in partnership with Fulham Football Club, DC Leisure, Kingston Sports and Recreation Service, Kingston Arts Development Office and Kingston Music and Arts Service.
Courses are offered free of charge thanks to the Summer Uni Grant. Knowing that Summer Uni programmes offer a fantastic opportunity for young people across London, London Challenge (part of the Department for Children, Schools and Families) and the Jack Petchey Foundation each committed £1 million towards the development or establishment of a Summer Uni in every London borough
