Fuel The first of a series of themed music nights to raise money for a new Youth Café in central Kingston, "Fuel" will feature bands playing the best rock and metal songs. Rick Astley and The Luddites 80's pop idol Rick Astley, winner of "Best Act Ever" at the MTV Europe Music Awards in 2008, is playing at The Rose Theatre on Sunday 11 April to raise money for the International Youth Arts Festival. Rick will be appearing with his new band 'The Luddites' and performing a range of numbers from bands as varied as The Kings of Leon, Arctic Monkeys, T Rex, The Killers, Greenday as well as a cover of his classic award winning hit 'Never Gonna Give You Up' Tickets: £10 from Rose Theatre Box Office. |

Judi Dench in 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' Set in Elizabethan England, Peter Hall's new production sees Titania, the Fairy Queen, as a portrait of the ageing Queen Elizabeth I, fascinated with the theatre, besieged by courtiers but ‘married to the people of England'. Tickets are now sold out. If you are under 26 and managed to book free tickets, these must be collected by 7pm at the latest on the day of performance or they will be released for general sale. Failure to collect your free tickets will prevent you from ordering free tickets in the future. |
