London Youth Games

Europe's Largest Youth Sports Competition for 11-18 year olds
The London Youth Games are a unique opportunity for all young Londoners to achieve their sporting ambitions.
Kingston competes in all of the 30 sports where young people want to get involved. Each year team managers for each of the sports run trials and training to select a squad to compete against the rest of London.
2009 saw Kingston jump two places from 2008 to 12th position, only 20 points off a top 10 finish. All of the athletes had put hours intro training for the event and the team managers dedicated their time to organising the team for competition day. The main games weekend at Crystal Palace saw thousands of young talented athletes competing to be the best in London; you couldn't help but notice the excited Kingston athletes in their bright yellow t-shirts!
