You're Welcome

"You're Welcome" is a way of checking what young people think about their health services. Recently, young people volunteered as mystery shoppers to inspect health services in Kingston including KU19 Clinics, Ace Pharmacy and The Wolverton Centre. The young people gave their feedback and the health services have made some changes based on the suggestions.

Obesity and Physical Activity Strategy Youth Consultation

‘Let Me Introduce Myself’ POSTCARD SWAP

The International Youth Arts Festival invites you and anyone between the ages of 5 and 26 years to take part in this year's international postcard swap: 'Let Me Introduce Myself’. Take a postcard and be creative with any material you can think of be it oil paint, ink, dried pasta, buttons, pictures and introduce yourself to the world. Your artwork will be.exhibited during this year’s International Youth Arts Festival , Kingston-upon-Thames 29th June- 6th July 2012 and also online at www.schoolswaps.net

Participation Groups Residential at High Ashurst

Young people from the Kingston Youth Council, KFC-FC and YU Online went to High Ashurst for the weekend for outdoor activities.

The Fountain Youth Club Complete the Three Peaks Challenge!

Over the Easter Holidays, a group of young people, members of The Fountain Youth Club, visited Three Peaks Outdoor Pursuits in Farnham. The course consisted of balancing wires, cargo nets, rope swings, wobbly bridges and a zip wire at the end. The key to completing the course was team-work and communication. If successful, the group would be rewarded with some time on the quad bikes.

Searchlight Celebrates Achievements with Jack Petchey Awards

Paul Horsecroft and Searchlight club members were invited along to the Jack Petchey celebration event at the Secombe Theatre in Sutton last week to collect their awards for outstanding achievements gained since attending, or helping to run, sessions at the club.

Safe Driving Project

The Safe Driving Project is now running at Dickerage Adventure Playground for young people aged 16+. Gain skill in safer driving with practise in hazard perception and road safety with the opportunity to gain an AQA in Safer Driving as well as completing the Driving Theory Test.

Free sessions at Devon Way with Parkour Generations

Try out our parkour (also known as free running) equipment in a safe, supervised environment at Devon Way Youth Centre. For the next couple of weeks the Parkour Generations coaching team will be on site. Check out their parkour videos on their site. A parental consent form is required before participating.
